In terms of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act No. 53 of 2003 and the Codes of Good Practice released in July 2007, Converg Financial Training Services (Pty) Ltd is considered to be an Exempted Micro Enterprise, as defined by the Codes, as the company’s turnover does not exceed R5 million per annum. The company therefore enjoys an automatic Level 4 (100%) contributor status.

Converg has obtained certification from an approved Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment rating agency confirming the Level 4 status.
