Introduction
Converg provides training and consulting services to
the accounting profession and business (large and small
organisations and individuals), both locally and internationally.
Training is conducted in-house or at public venues dependant
on specific requirements.
Specialist training to the accounting profession addresses
a range of development needs. Where required, in-house
courses are designed with client input having determined
specific objectives. In addition, Converg consults to
auditing and accounting firms regarding quality control,
compliance with standards and application of audit methodologies.
BusinessForward by Converg specialises in consulting
and short course training for companies and individuals
who want to develop their financial and business skills.
Various business, finance and soft skills training courses
are offered in public venues or as an in-house service.
In addition, Converg consults to business regarding
financial practices and conducts business process reviews.

Training Strategy
We are passionate about training. We believe that if you concentrate

There is a dire need in South Africa to provide relevant training
and this is reflected in the objectives of the Skills Development
Legislation. By providing training that is relevant to our country
and its needs we will be building a better future for us all.
Our approach to training is a combination of course relevancy
and participant involvement.
Our in-house courses are tailored in consultation with our clients
to ensure that we provide relevant training. Through research
and by remaining abreast of developments in our field, we ensure
that courses are totally up to date. This is coupled with a
high level of passion, professional expertise and an exciting
program that stimulates participation. The Converg learning
experience is therefore interactive and utilises training techniques
that impart up-to-date knowledge and bring out the best of each
participant. Courses are practical and utilise case studies
providing skills that can be implemented immediately.
Our attention to detail is evident from not only the presentations,
but also the material that accompanies all interventions. Training
is supported by detailed workbooks, allowing further reference
and revision.
Each training intervention is followed up with feedback about
the service provided and, where relevant, to the client about
participant performance and/or future development needs. This
not only ensures that we continuously improve our service, but

within the auditing profession, the feedback to participants
can be incorporated into the firm's evaluation process and trainees'
